Professional background
Main areas of work. Addiction medicine and clinical psychiatry.
Experience. He has been part of the Acord Med team since 2012. Senior consultant psychiatrist and head of department at the Obregia Psychiatric Hospital in Bucharest. National coordinator of the addictions and depressive disorder subprogrammes of the National Mental Health Programme. Lecturer on the addiction medicine accreditation programme and member of the hospital’s Ethics Council.
Education. Graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine, Titu Maiorescu University, Bucharest; residency in psychiatry at the Obregia hospital (2007–2011). PhD student at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest. Accredited in addiction medicine; certificate in health services management.
Research and publications. Author of chapters in “Compendiu de Medicina Adicției” (Compendium of Addiction Medicine; MedicHub Media, 2024) and of numerous presentations at national and international psychiatry congresses and conferences. He has a long-standing research interest in behavioural addictions and dependence on technology.
