Professional background
Main areas of work. Schizophrenia and delusional disorders, dementias and other cognitive disorders, mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder), anxiety disorders and personality disorders.
Experience. She has been part of the Acord Med team since 2013. She has also practised at the Obregia Psychiatric Hospital in Bucharest and at Centrul de Evaluare și Tratament a Toxicodependențelor pentru Tineri “Sf. Stelian” (the St Stelian Centre for the Assessment and Treatment of Drug Addiction in Young People). She previously worked as a Senior Clinical Research Associate in international clinical trials, in fields such as respiratory medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, urology and gastroenterology. This experience gives her a detailed understanding of how treatments are developed and evaluated.
Training. Cognitive-behavioural therapy (Asociația Română de Terapie Comportamentală și Cognitivă, the Romanian Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapy; 2008–2013).
Education. Graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine, Gr. T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iași (1999–2005); residency in psychiatry at the Obregia hospital (2006–2010). Senior consultant psychiatrist since 2021.
Affiliations. Member of Colegiul Medicilor din România (the Romanian College of Physicians).
